During Noah’s time everything perished but his family. God said to Noah He would not flood the world again. But that was thousands and thousands of years ago. We have read/heard accounts from history books and other references on earths flooding that killed thousands of people. I thought the Tsumami that killed thousands of people in Asia would be the last but there was Tsunami again that killeds hundreeds of people in the Pacific. Now Metro-Manila and adjacent provinces were submerged under water recently brought about by typhoon Ondoy.
But this is not the first time the Philippines was flooded. It had been flooded so many times although in other provinces and group of islands in the country. And flooding is not only happening in the Philippines, it’s all over in the world.
When Metro-Manila and the CALABARSON Area had been flooded (until now there are still parts of Metro-Manila which are under water) some friends called me and ask this question. Why is God flooding the Philippines. Doesn’t God know that the Philippines is poor and does not need any more calamities to come? The people are still recuperating from the past natural calamities and here is another widespread flooding again? Is God trying to punish the corrupt and the abusive officials of the Philippine government? Is Metro Manila flooding related to graft and corruption in the government and dirty politics? During Noah’s time God destroyed the earth with flood to put an end to the excesses and evil of people. Is God trying to funish us also this time.
Maybe yes, may be no is my answer. Yes because we all contributed to the harming of our natural resources. We buy timber products, furnitures, construct houses, convert agricultural and forest lands into housing projects. And we all patronize them too out of necessity. Man’s basic need is food, clothing, and shelter. The provision of this item has something to do also with manufacturing, land exploitation, and production. In other words we have gone extremes in our industrial production just to cope up with our needs.
Mother nature is hurt, and mother nature is now funishing us which is the perception of many of us. But to me God allowed this thing to happen for us to know where we have gone and wrong and to repent from all our shortcomings including the evil we have done to nature and to our land.

By the way many of the problems we have encountered in the evacuation centers are lack of toilet facilities, dirty environment, insufficient food supplies, blankets and other form of clothing, and of course spread of waterborn diseases. We need medicines. We have medical practitioners offering free services in various medical mission. But the thing we don’t have enough medicine for the sick. May we appeal to the kind hearted owners of these big drug companies to donate some more. Please channel them to the Department of Health.
God destroyed evil by flooding the entire world. God maybe allowed the flooding of the Philippines to get rid of evil in politics and governance. God wants to teach a lesson for the people to choose the right leader. And God wants to show to the corrupt, plunderer, and abusive officials from top to the bottom in the government that there is an end for everything.
God flooded the Philippines to start a new era of life, clean and honest government has to be installed, and only the honest and dedicated servants shall lead in the affairs of the government.
Should the Filipinos ignore God’s warning, we expect more typhoon Ondoys to come.

Dengue Fever Remedy
I would like to share this interesting discovery from a classmate’s son who has just recovered from dengue fever. Apparently, his son was in the critical stage at the ICU when his blood platelet count drops to 15 after ! 15 liters of blood transfusion.
His father was so worried that he seeks another friend’s recommendation and his son was saved. He confessed to me that he gave his son raw juice of the papaya leaves. From a platelet count of 45 after 20 liters of blood transfusion, and after drinking the raw papaya leaf juice, his platelet count jumps instantly to 135. Even the doctors and nurses were surprised. After the second day he was discharged. So he asked me to pass this good news around.
Accordingly it is raw papaya leaves, 2pcs just cleaned and pound and squeeze with filter cloth. You will only get one tablespoon per leaf. So tw! o tablespoon per serving once a day. Do not boil or cook or rinse with hot water, it will loose its strength. Only the leafy part and no stem or sap. It is very bitter and you have to swallow it like “Won Low Kat”. But it works.
*Papaya Juice – Cure for Dengue*
You may have heard this elsewhere but if not, I am glad to inform you that papaya juice is a natural cure for dengue fever. As dengue fever is rampant now, I think it’s good to share this with all.
A friend of mine had dengue last year. It was a very serious situation for her as her platelet count had dropped to 28,000 after 3 days in hospital and water has started to fill up her lung. She had difficulty in breathing. She was only 32-year old.. Doctor says there’s no cure for dengue. We just have to wait for her body immune system to build up resistance against dengue and fight its own battle. She ! already had 2 blood transfusion and all of us were praying very hard as her platelet continued to drop since the first day she was admitted.
Fortunately her mother-in-law heard that papaya juice would help to reduce the fever and got some papaya leaves, pounded them and squeeze the juice out for it. The next day, her platelet count started to increase, her fever subsided. We continued to feed her with papaya juice and she recovered after 3 days!!!
Amazing but it’s true. It’s believed one’s body would be overheated when one is down with dengue and that also caused the patient to have fever. Papaya juice has cooling effect. Thus, it helps to reduce the level of heat in one’s body, thus the fever will go away. I found that it’s also good when one is having sore throat or suffering from heat.
Please spread the news about this as lately there are many dengue cases. It’s great if such natural cure could help to ease the sufferings of dengue patients.
